Organizational Plans

The Lake Charlevoix Association Board has been ramping up the activity level as it relates to addressing all of our goals for the future. One of our main goals is to develop a large and active membership, so that together we can better address our mission. As we move towards this more active membership, we are planning to organize our association into blocks or zones around the lake. Each block will include a section of the lakefront and will need a captain. It is our plan that these captains will act as conduits of information and motivation back and forth between the LCA Board and members in their block. We foresee clean-up events, environmental quality events, and social events as possible activities organized by these captains. Other possibilities exist as well. It is our hope that this organizational strategy will develop great camaraderie among lakefront owners and provide a better chance that they will rally to improve and preserve the quality of our wonderful lake.
