Shoreline Preservation And Restoration Initiative (SPARI). How Did Your Property Rate in the 2007 Survey? Can You Make Your Frontage More "Green"?

Data is still being entered from the 2007 Lake Charlevoix shoreline survey. Once data entry and organization is completed, it is our hope to make each property's rating available, to the owners only, through our website. A description of the rating system and criteria is coming soon. Hopefully the full data will be available before the summer season arrives, so people can use their rating to improve their shoreline.

The LCA is planning a project to help waterfront owners learn how to improve their shoreline in ways that help protect the lake. Please check back as this program will be highlighted here when the plan is complete.
